  During these sessions you will make beaded jewellery learning, developing & embellishing  basic stitches. During 5 sessions, we will be working on at least one stitch.

  A dainty necklace reminiscent of Twigs tipped with gleaming drops of water. Use several layers of coloured wires twisted into twiggy shapes & adorned with crystals & beads to make a shaped necklace.
  This Necklace is easy and is suitable for all.

  Beadwork Workshop at Mowlem Theatre Swanage 
  “A lovely firm 3D herringbone bangle which narrows then widens like waists & hips. Each of it’s 3 or 4 sides can be a  different colour. Uses size 11 delicas & size 11 seed beeds.
  This is a needle & thread technique.

• *NEW Embroidered Lace Flowers for Fascinators or Corsages - Tutor Claire Muir
  Machine embroider onto soluble fabric couching down a variety of sumptuous cloths before wiring & embellishing your flowers with crystals. Use as fascinators, corsages, headbands or on hats & bags. You need to have tried machine embroidery once before.

• Dichroic Glass - Tutor Hilary Bowen
  Dichroic glass is a special glass which is coated with metallic oxide. This creates an iridescent effect where two or more colours reflect from the surface to create stunning visual effects. The glass is cut into the required shapes and fired in the kiln. Two firings will take place during the workshop, so that you can take your finished pieces home to make into jewellery. Jewellery findings will be available at additional cost.

• Silver Clay Jewellery beginners & improvers - Tutor Hilary Bowen
  Silver clay is silver in a pure form, which allows it to be manipulated like ordinary clay. you can very easily roll it,cut shapes into / out of it, mould it into intricate shapes or texture it! Once fired it can be finished in the same way as ordinary silver.
