The Plant Behaviour database allows you to track a plants behaviour throughout the year, every year. This will allow you to collate the best times the plant is in flower, when it dies back, or even what colour it changes to throughout the season.
This is an initial release and we expect further enhancements, especially reports, as people start using it for real!
Year Set-up The database is different to other databases in that you must set-up the year which you are working in. All other modes (except for Reports) will show plants applicable to that year. There are options to automatically generate a set of all known plants held within the Plants database for that year and even find and generate missing plant entries which have been added to the Plants database at a later stage. In another release we plan on allowing these entries to be generated from the Plants In Garden Database (as other people start adding their own plants to the database).
Edit Behaviour Allows you to edit the behaviour for a particular plant (within a particular year).
View Behaviour Shows a view of the plant behaviour data (for a particular year).
Find Plant Allows you to find a plant based on all the information provided in the behaviour database.
Plant List Allows you to view all the plants matching in a Find or associated for a particular year. Each row has a quick entry button to see a plant.
